Do I have to refrigerate my products?
Refrigeration is not necessary, but will keep products (especially creams) at their optimal freshness and consistency, as well as extend their shelf life.
 
What is the shelf life of the products?
If stored in a cool dry place our creams and lotions have approximately a 6 month shelf life. All other products have a 10-12 month shelf life. Refrigerating products will extend the shelf life.
 
Is it normal if a product separates?
Absolutely. Truly natural products do not contain chemical emulsifiers and will have some separation. Just think about natural peanut butter versus a typical hydrogenated oil-filled peanut butter. Shaking or stirring and refrigerating the creams and lotions will liming separation.
 
What is a nutriceutical?
An extract or compund demonstrated to have a physiological benefit and provide protection against aging and chronic disease.
 
What is Vitamin C Ester?
This is fat-soluble and will absorb into the skin easily. Treats fine lines and wrinkles on sun-damaged, sunburned, inflamed or irritated skin, also sagging skin that is losing its firmness because of lost or damaged collagen.

What is Alpha Lipoic Acid?
A natural antioxidant that is both water and fat soluble so it can fight free radicals in any part of the cell. It works to improve the overall appearance of the skin, but it is best for treating problems like lines and wrinkles, under eye bags and puffiness, enlarged pores, acne scars, sallow or dull skin.

What is CoenzymeQ10?
It is a fat soluble and can reach the cell plasma membrane where free radical damage often takes place. Used to treat fine lines on the face.

What is DMAE?
It is an antioxidant membrane stabilizer. This nutrient complex is considered a food grade substance and boosts the effects of other antioxidants. Used to firm the skin on the face and body.

What is Tocotrienol (d-alpha-tocotrienol)?
It is a very potent form of vitamin E. Effective for repairing damaged skin.
 
What is MSM?
It is an organic sulfur compound that has been deemed a ‘super nutrient’. Promotes collagen development and prevents oxidation of cell membranes.
 
What is Calcium ascorbate?
It is a neutralized Vitamin C that is essential for the maintenance of connective tissue and collagen. Vitamin C defends against free radicals and recycles the body’s Vitamin E.
 
In what order do I use the face products?
Cleanser, toner, mask (if using one), vitamin C, and moisturizer. The Rejuvenating Face Mist can be used any time, over or under moisturizer and make-up. If very sensitive, we suggest not using the Vitamin C after the enzyme peel.
 
How long will the products last?
With regular use the products are sized to last 2-3 months.
 
Are the products good for aging skin?
Absolutely. They provide extra hydration and vitamins for supple skin, as well as potent nutriceuticals and extracts skin needs to fight and heal signs of aging.
 
Are the products good for sensitive skin?
Yes. Natural extracts and oils are better for sensitive skin than chemicals, however, some people can still be allergic to natural ingredients so always read the label carefully.
 
What is the salve used for?
The salve is an excellent anti-inflammatory and provides healing moisture to skin. It is amazing for eczema, psoriasis, rashes, sunburns, reducing scarring, dry/cracked skin and cuticles. It is also a great itch reliever and therefore great for mosquito bites.
 
Can the salve be used near the eyes?
Yes. The salve can be used under the eyes and on the eyelids. It can also be used with a cotton swab in the lash lines to calm irritated skin or to remove excess make.
